February 2019: Konidaris Law continues working with students, including survivors facing cross complaints from their assailants, at colleges and graduate schools.
January 2019: Konidaris Law submits a comment on the Department of Education’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Title IX.
November 2018: Konidaris Law and the Gender Equality Law Center were retained to represent Kristy King in her sexual harassment complaint at Rutgers University. October 2018: Konidaris Law is retained to represent student on a gender-stereotyping Title IX case at a university.
September 2018: Konidaris Law is retained to litigate an ongoing “revenge porn” litigation against a banker.
June 2018: Iliana Konidaris moderates a panel on #MeToo in Academia at the New York City Bar’s Sexual Harassment & the Law: A Call to Action for Lawyers in the Era of #MeToo.
May 2018: Konidaris Law negotiates an exit package for a new mom who faced gender and caregiver discrimination in the workplace. We agree, there’s an open "anti-mom bias" in the workplace.
February 2018: Konidaris Law files an Article 78 petition (a special proceeding asking the court to review a state agency’s decision) against CUNY on behalf of a young woman who alleges her due process rights were violated when she was subjected to a malicious and discriminatory investigation.
January 2018: Konidaris Law launches a video in support of the #MeTooK12 campaign (started by the organization Stop Sexual Assault in Schools), discussing retaliation -- what it looks like and how to prevent it -- after reporting sexual assault or harassment in the K-12 context. December 2017: Konidaris Law files suit against Harlem Children's Zone on behalf of an 11-year old boy who was poisoned during morning homeroom. The New York Post recently covered the story.
September 2017: Konidaris Law, with Florida co-counsel, files a Title IX suit against the University of Miami on behalf of an ambitious young woman pursuing degrees in law and medicine. Press about the suit may be found here, here, and here.
